A Note From Jane

We will be closed until Friday, August 6. (Phil had a flux capacitor problem on Friday night and we need some time to muster up 1.21 jigawatts to get him back!

We are looking for Inception, Despicable Me, or Salt for re-opening weekend.

Thank you! To all of you who came to the Outdoor movie. You were a fantastic audience and we are so grateful for all of your support.

And thanks to the Post Office for shutting off their outside lights. And the Fire Dept for letting us use luminairies which were so beautiful. And to Kim Lacher for letting us borrow sawhorses to keep the parking lot clear. And to all the neighbors who were inconvenienced and kept up late. (Especially the couple right next door with the brand new baby)

It was the perfect summer night and our new video projector made the movie look fantastic.
Which opens up so many new possibilities in the theater. Keep in mind that with that and Direct TV we can project anything special you want to see on the big screen. Feel free to share your ideas.
We love being Your community cinema!

Thanks to all of you that have faithfully supported us over the past eleven plus years. We ask now that you encourage your friends and neighbors to join you for movies at the Alamo. Our attendance numbers are down. If you believe that we are an important part of the community please get people in the habit of coming. Please know that here at the Alamo Theatre we try very hard to bring you a variety of entertainment.

Not all of the movies that we show are for everyone. Especially children. Please
be educated consumers. Click the movie poster and watch the trailer. Pay attention to the MPAA rating.

If you have comments about the movie going experience at the Alamo Theatre- please let me know. If you aren't comfortable during the show please approach the theater staff. If you don't tell us the sound is too loud or other audience members are behaving then we just can't help you.

We strive to be your first choice when you go out to the movies.

Thanks for your patronage, Jane Donnell - Theatre Manager
